This place was absolutely beautiful and amazing. They have all the amenities you need. They were able to accommodate a group of 12 friends for our stay here. If we had questions or issues, they were quick to respond. The manager even bought some groceries and beverages ahead of time so we were stocked when we arrived. Very clean place and they clean while we stayed there too. You can lounge by pools or fish on a dock or kayak/paddle board during the day and have a bonfire at night by the beach. You can also hire Chef Aaron to make some meals during your stay, and he was awesome. Great location to take a quick golf cart ride into town. We fell in love with Belize and all the people there are extremely nice.

This place is ABSOLUTELY amazing…there is not enough words to describe it!!! Everything about is wonderful; the location, the pool, the beds, the fully stocked rooms, I could go on an on. And on top of that, the Owners and building manager are GREAT! I feel like I have gained life long friends and vacation spot! I can’t wait to go back :)

What a great place! Spacious and luxurious, the house has everything you need. My daughter loved the pool and the shallow spot was perfect for her to romp around in. The property manager Ellen was very helpful, chef Aaron cooked us an excellent dinner on the top floor, and Charlton showed us beautiful wildlife up and down the coast. Highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to spend a week at Shedrock Shangrila. Wow!!! What a beautiful home in a spectacular location. Robyn and Tony have gone above and beyond in making this home world class. The fit and finishes are on point plus the grounds are so welcoming and neat and clean. My main goal for the trip was Fly Fishing. Shedrock Shangrila was able to hook us up with some exceptional local guides that got us into Tarpon, Bone fish and Snook. We also had some shots at Permit. The bonus was coming back and jumping into the pool to cool off. If you're thinking of visiting Belize, I highly recommend staying at Shedrock Shangrila.

Rooms: Well appointed, and super clean., comfortable. Great Wi-Fi and lots of TV channels if needed.

Nearby activities: I was there mostly for the outstanding Fly Fishing. And I wasn't disappointed. Robyn and Tony can assist with finding a local guide.

Safety: I felt safe and secure at Shedrock Shangrila. But I also felt very safe in town. The people are super friendly.

Walkability: Great beaches to walk on. Also, the golf carts are nice touch and make it easy to get to town.

Food & drinks: You can pre-order food for your stay and cook in your room. But we visited a few of the local restaurants and never had a bad meal.

It's magical! There's a house manager named Ellen and she's amazing! Ask about the Massage from Anna! The golf carts were amazing and we loved our trips to the village. This place is truly paradise!

What can we say or add that hasn’t already been said. Your house was incredible and laid out perfectly. It had everything we needed. The pools, the views, the beach, the setting, kayaks, bikes and hammocks….perfect. Ellen, the property manager was fantastic with provisioning, excursions and so much more. Chef Aaron and Anna, the massage therapist, were excellent. 12 days was almost not enough. Already planning for next year.
